By far the most popular mountain bike style and the range is huge. The more you pay the stronger, lighter, and better equipped the bike will be. Alloy or Carbon fibre frames dictate the weight.

Cross-Over

Cross-Over hybrids offer both comfort and strength. Crossover hybrids use Front suspension offering additional comfort over rougher terrain . The 700c bigger wheels & tyres allow for low level off road use such as canal tow paths and light woodland use but are still relatively fast on the road.

Road

Ride bikes are a slightly more relaxed ride position than a full race bike. A higher head tube, shallow drop bars, curved top tube and longer rear stays give ride bikes a more comfortable and more stable ride with very little drop in performance from a full race bike.
